"Surfin' for Paws-abilities" One of our pups, Ricochet, who was slated to become a service dog/breeder, developed too much prey drive.  So, rather than being released from our program we developed an initiative called "Surfin' for Paws-abilities" in which Ricoche raises money for charitable causes through her surfing.  To learn more visit http://www.ripcurlricki.com/SurfinforPawsabilities.htm

“Paws for Pregnancy”  We involve pregnant teens in our neo-natal and early learning program in effort to educate them on reproduction, pre-natal care, birth and rearing of the young puppies so they can learn positive parenting skills and improve mother-baby bonding. 

 
“Inter-generational Puppy Love” An innovative program that brings children and senior citizens together in the spirit of puppy love for the mutual benefit of young and old.  The seniors work with the children showing them how to gently handle the puppies.  The benefits of this program enable the seniors and children to interact and learn about each other first hand.  The children learn from positive role models, and the seniors have an outlet that reduces loneliness and isolation.  In addition, petting the puppies can stimulate circulation and reduce stress, anxiety and lower blood pressure.
